The Problem

After a 7.0 earthquake struck in 2010, Haiti was left in ruins. Over 220,000 people died, 1.5 million people became homeless, and 4,000 schools were badly damaged or destroyed. This left thousands of children with no home, no resources, and nowhere to turn for an education or a meal. Even today, many children still lack these basic rights.

The Solution Offered by Random Acts

This week Sevenly is teaming up with Random Acts to bring continued relief to the victims of Haiti’s 2010 earthquake. Random Acts partnered with local leaders in Jacmel, Haiti to provide funding and other resources to build a children's center, and we are helping them to keep kids fed, healthy, and in classrooms. Every child deserves to get a quality education, no matter where they live.

Random Acts

Random Acts is a non-profit organization that is aiming to change the world, one random act of kindness at a time. They inspire, fund, and celebrate random acts of kindness all over the world, proving that a small gesture can make a big difference. On an even larger scale, they have built a children's center in Haiti and are now building a high school campus in Nicaragua, promoting the idea that everyone should have access to education.
