Diseases such as AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis continue to claim the lives of millions of adults in Africa, and millions of children are being left homeless and orphaned. Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world with more than 1 million orphans primarily due to HIV/AIDS. Lizulu is a rural Malawian community where the average family lives on less than $0.75 a day. It is home to approximately 3,000 orphans living with limited or no support.
The Solution Offered by Mocha Club
We are partnering with The Mocha Club to help care for orphaned children living at Mocha Club’s Lizulu Orphan Care Project in Africa. Your purchase will help provide clothing, healthcare, and food and help equip communities to care for their own orphans. At Lizulu Orphan Care Project, children live with families so that they are included in daily life. These families are then supported by local resource centers that assist with food, clothing, blankets, spiritual guidance, education, and medical care. Because of you, lives will be transformed and orphaned children will grow up with loving families.
