Navajo Nation Receives COVID-19 Supplies from SGN Community Partners, Including Sevenly and Direct Relief

Could you use Some Good News today? This year has been a challenge for everyone! We’ve shifted, and adjusted, and tried to stay healthy during unprecedented times. It hasn’t been easy for anyone! This is why at Sevenly, we are so pleased to share how your contributions have helped our cause partner, Direct Relief, make a difference.

Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization that is active in all 50 U.S. states and more than 80 countries. Their mission is to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. Direct Relief’s assistance programs are tailored to the particular circumstances and needs of the world's most vulnerable and at-risk populations. Their tradition of direct and targeted assistance, provided in a manner that respects and involves the people served, has been a hallmark of this incredible organization since its founding in 1948 by refugee war immigrants to the U.S.

Today we want you to see your donation funds at work as Direct Relief emergency specialists send supplies to the Navajo Nation. Your generosity has helped DR send 9 tons of supplies to people who need it most. Amazing!

Sevenly and the Some Good News Team have been working hard to create new, creative, fun products that allow you to wear and share more good news AND continue to donate to non-profits like Direct Relief.

José Andrés says, “There is no place too far or disaster too great for our chefs to be there with a hot plate of food when it’s needed most,” and the funds donated from the Some Good Merch collection have helped the WCK team do just that.
